At Home Gym on a Budget

No gym? No problem!

It’s a common misconception that we can’t get a good workout in if we can’t go to the gym. WRONGO, FALSE, UNTRUE, NOPE! πŸ€ͺ

The best workouts aren’t achieved because you have high-end equipment, are in a gym-type environment, or because you're able to get in your sauna or steam session beforehand.

The best workouts happen when you are:
⚑️ Focused
⚑️ Disciplined
⚑️ Have planned ahead
THIS is how to be efficient with your workouts.

Here’s what I recommend to have for your at-home gym if you are tight on space and money:

πŸ’₯  Dumbbells - have at least two sets, a lighter set and a medium-heavy set. If you have the means, try to have light, medium, and heavy. Kettlebells are also great.

πŸ’₯  Booty Bands - bands are an excellent addition to your routine. They help aid your warmup, add resistance to your regular workouts, and take up very little space. Here are my favorite mini rubber booty bands, and click here for cloth.

πŸ’₯  Jump Rope - if you’re into higher intensity/higher impact workouts, invest in a jump rope!! It takes up virtually no space and will help you squeeze in a killer cardio session.

πŸ’₯  Yoga Mat - working on your apartment floor or your kitchen tile can hurt your spine and add discomfort to any exercise that's on the ground. Invest in a thin yoga mat for your spine, and also for your mental clarity. Sometimes it helps the brain know it's "go time" when the mat is out. Might I recommend a purple mat... πŸ˜‰

πŸ’₯  Music - make yourself a killer playlist that gets you excited to workout! Music has the power to alter our moods, inspire us, motivate us, and push us into getting a great workout.
